The Field Post was introduced by the LSOG on August 23, 2005 as an efficient way to communicate current news to its membership and persons interested in Senior Olympics.

The timing of the first Field Post couldn't have been better since Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana less than a week later.  Immediately following the storm, the Field Post gave us the capability to easily send news to everyone regarding the status of the State Games and all other changes following recovery efforts.  Whether it's in times of emergency or normal times, the Field Post keeps you updated with the latest information regarding the Louisiana Senior Olympic Games.  The archives posted below contain all Field Posts sent by e-mail to our subscriber list.  If you or your friends are not currently receiving the Field Post, please follow the instructions below to add your e-mail address to the list.  There is no charge for the Field Post.
